Blacks Interested in Business host "CoBA Pride Week"

The last week of October is packed with social activities and educational workshops at the College of Business. Organized by Blacks Interested in Business, “CoBA Pride Week” will run Oct. 29 through Nov. 4. ALDI and State Farm Insurance are sponsoring the events which are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

The schedule for “CoBA Pride Week” follows:
Monday, Oct. 29
• 5-6:30 p.m. – Rehn Hall Room 326 – “How to start your own business” workshop.
Tuesday, Oct. 30
•5-6:30 p.m. – Rehn Hall Room 108 – Speaker Shiloh Bell will speak about “Writing a business plan.”
Wednesday, Oct. 31
• 5-8 p.m. – Student Center Ballroom D – Safe Halloween.
• 9-11 p.m. – Student Center - Bowling and Billiards.
Thursday, Nov. 1
• 6-9 p.m. - Student Center Old Main Restaurant - Dinner Etiquette Banquet – Invitation only.
Friday, Nov. 2
•12-2 p.m. - Student Center Kaskaskia Room – SIUC College of Business Minority Advisory Board luncheon – Invitation only.
Sunday, Nov. 4
•2-5 p.m. – Student Recreational Center - BIB Basketball Tournament – Registration required – Sign-up sheet at Rehn Room 117.
